Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Protection for Windows (11.01.16.02260), Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (11.1.17.201802260), the Dr.Web Sysinfo module (11.1.8.201802260), and the Dr.Web Shellguard anti-exploit module (11.01.12.02130) in a number of Dr.Web products. Also updated were Dr.Web Enterprise Agent for Windows setup (11.0.11.02260) in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0 and 10.1 and Dr.Web AV-Desk Agent for Windows setup (11.0.11.02260) in Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0 and 10.1. The update resolves known issues and delivers minor upgrades.
Changes made to the self-protection module in Dr.Web 11.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0 and 10.1, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0 and 10.1:
An issue causing a possible system crash under Windows XP (when accessing a Novell Netware volume or performing other tasks) has been resolved.
Changes made to the anti-exploit module in Dr.Web 11.0 for Windows, Dr.Web KATANA 1.0, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0 and 10.1, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0 and 10.1:
Memory usage has been optimized for browser process protection.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
