Dr.Web 11.0.5 for Microsoft Exchange Server released

February 1, 2018

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web is pleased to announce the release of Dr.Web 11.0.5 for Microsoft Exchange Server. The update addresses issues involving Windows update KB4056893, which was released in January.

Because update KB4056893 changed the authentication level for COM objects, this Dr.Web update ensures the plugin remains operational on machines on which KB4056893 has been installed.

Since earlier versions of Dr.Web for Microsoft Exchange Server provide no support for the update, users are recommended to update the Dr.Web plugin to version 11.0.5.

More information about the upgrade process, as well as the system requirements for Dr.Web 11.0.5 for Microsoft Exchange Server, can be found in the release notes.
