Doctor Web presents its January 2018 virus activity review. As early as last summer Doctor Web analysts detected a 0-day vulnerability in server software running Microsoft Windows, which cybercriminals used to install Trojans on servers for cryptocurrency mining. In January we published an analysis of these malicious programs.
