Older Dr.Web versions are compatible with January’s security updates for Windows

January 17, 2018

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Anti-virus and Dr.Web Security Space 6?-9?, Dr.Web 6?-8.? for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 6.0.0 and 6.0.4, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 6.0.0 and 6.0.2 to make sure the applications notify the operating system that the security updates released by Microsoft in early January 2018 are ready to be downloaded and installed.

The legacy versions have been upgraded as a follow-up to the updates made to the latest versions of Dr.Web applications (https://news.drweb.com/show/?i=11680).

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.

Dr.Web users are recommended to update all of their legacy products to the current versions.
