“Bad rabbit”, a Trojan for IoT, a Python backdoor, and other events of October 2017

Doctor Web presents its October 2017 virus activity review. The most notable event of the month is, undoubtedly, the attack of the new encryption worm Trojan.BadRabbit. Also in October, Doctor Web virus analysts examined a new Trojan capable of infecting “smart” Linux devices and a backdoor written in Python.
