Components updated in Dr.Web 11.0 for Windows, Dr.Web CureNet!, Dr.Web KATANA 1.0, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0 and 10.1, Dr.Web 11.0 for MS Exchange, Dr.Web 11.0 for Microsoft ISA Server and Forefront TMG, Dr.Web 11.0 for IBM Lotus Domino and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0

July 24, 2017

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Scanning Engine (11.1.11.201707030), Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (11.1.11.201707030), and the Dr.Web for Outlook Plugin module (11.0.3.201706220) in a number of Dr.Web products. The update delivers upgrades for the applications.

Specifically, changes made to the Scanning Engine have improved its stability.

Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API has received optimised routines to cure system modules.

The update also addresses a Dr.Web for Outlook Plugin issue in Dr.Web for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite, and Dr.Web AV-Desk that could prevent the plugin from filtering spam after the dwantispam.exe process was restarted.

Also eliminated was an issue in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0 and 10.1 that caused Preventive Protection false positives if Dr.Web was being used alongside Infowatch software.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
