Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the anti-exploit module Dr.Web Shellguard (11.01.09.06190) and the Dr.Web SelfPROtect module (11.01.10.06210) in Dr.Web 11.0 for Windows, Dr.Web KATANA 1.0, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0 and10.1, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0. The self-protection module was also updated in Dr.Web CureNet! The update resolves known software issues.
Specifically, it addresses a Dr.Web Shellguard issue that resulted in false positives if MS Word 2016 was being used alongside Office Tab.
Also resolved was a self-protection module defect that could result in a system crash (BSOD) under Windows 2008 R2.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
