Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Lua-Updater module (11.0.21.06080), Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (11.1.11.201706060), Dr.Web Control Service (11.0.13.06051 and 11.0.12.06061), and Lua-script for scan-engine (11.0.6.06050) in a number of Dr.Web products. Furthermore, the katana-service module (11.1.7.06051) was upgraded in Dr.Web KATANA 1.0. The update resolves known software issues and delivers minor upgrades.

Specifically, Lua-Updater’s routines for interacting with the Dr.Web update servers have been optimised.

Also, an Anti-rootkit API issue that prevented Windows from loading local user profiles and thus made temporary profiles necessary for system login has been eliminated.

The update will be performed automatically. However, a system reboot will be required for Dr.Web KATANA.
