Doctor Web presents its May 2017 overview of malware for mobile devices. In the past month, a Trojan was detected on Google Play that downloaded other programs and transmitted information about the devices it infected to cybercriminals. The catalog was also discovered to contain applications carrying an advertising Trojan capable of downloading and launching additional components. In addition, in May, cybercriminals distributed a banker that stole money from user accounts.
