In addition to the update, Dr.Web Amsi-client (11.0.0.201612120), a new module responsible for checking Windows Script Host and PowerShell scripts, has been added to Dr.Web Anti-virus and Dr.Web Security Space.
The agent for Dr.Web Anti-virus, Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Servers has undergone changes:
- Arabic and Persian (Farsi) language support has been added;
- support for the new Dr.Web Amsi-client module has been added;
- statistics can now be viewed in the agent's user mode;
- scan error messages are now displayed correctly when copies of Data Loss Prevention are created and restored;
- the agent's stability has been improved; issues have been eliminated that could cause it to terminate abnormally in the following situations: when an attempt was made to create a protected copy when no changes had been made to protected folders; when the system was accessed; and also after the components were updated;
- changes have been introduced to the procedure for registering serial numbers and issuing three-month demo licenses for PCs under Windows XP;
- paths can now be copied when rules for files, folders, and applications excluded from scanning are being created and edited;
- the agent's windows are better displayed when contrast display themes are selected in Windows;
- a defect was eliminated that caused the value in the "Path" field to remain inactive after it was changed by the user in the window that displays files restored from the quarantine.
Changes made to the agent for Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite and Dr.Web AV-Desk:
- an issue has been eliminated that involved pop-up messages appearing when the option "Show notifications on the desktop" was disabled on a protected host;
- also eliminated was an issue involving the incorrect Dr.Web icon being displayed on stations with outdated virus databases and no server connection.
Changes made to the Control Service for Dr.Web Anti-virus, Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Servers:
- the routine for analysing a user’s existing licenses has been improved so that they can select their most relevant license as their current one;
- integration with Windows Security Center (Action Center) has been improved;
- Data Loss Prevention has been enhanced:
- backup folders located on different disks can now be deleted without opening the settings window again;
- also fixed was a problem that prevented the feature from operating correctly after the anti-virus settings were reset to their default values;
- an issue causing an incorrect message ("An unknown error occurred. Select another disk to save copies...") to be displayed in the agent’s settings when operating in the user mode has been eliminated;
- a defect that prevented users from blocking printer jobs has been corrected;
- an issue that might disable SpIDer Gate and Parental Control after a protected computer was rebooted has been resolved.
Changes made to the Control Service for Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite and Dr.Web AV-Desk:
- an error causing a protected station—one that was operational for a long period of time without a reboot— to fail to notify the server that its virus databases were out of date has been resolved;
- an issue causing a station to lose its server connection if file modification time information added to the quarantine was incorrect;
- a problem involving the periodic reset of user-defined agent settings has been resolved;
- an error involving the settings for an additionally installed component not being requested in time from the server has been corrected;
- issues that could cause problems when exclusion lists for applications were being transmitted from server to agent have been fixed;
- a problem causing incorrect messages to appear in the server console about an emergency connection failure when the agent switched to sleep mode has been resolved;
- integration with Windows Security Center (Action Center) has been improved.
Changes made to the scanner for Dr.Web Anti-virus, Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite and Dr.Web AV-Desk:
- the keys /ARW, /GO and /ST now work properly;
- the view of the overall result of file neutralisation if one or more of them could not be moved to the quarantine has been corrected;
- some of the elements of the scanner’s windows now display better when Windows contrast themes are in use.
Changes made to the net filtering service for Dr.Web Security Space:
- the new category "Anonymisers" has been added to Parental Control.
Changes made to the net filtering service for Dr.Web Anti-virus, Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite and Dr.Web AV-Desk:
- SSL 2.0 processing has been corrected if further connection occurs via a more secure protocol;
- changes have been made to the page that is displayed when access has been restricted to websites on the Parental Control black list;
- an issue resulting in a log failure when the Dr.Web Net filtering service was shut down has been eliminated.
Changes made to the scanning service:
- a defect involving the Anti-Spam module not being downloaded on computers running Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 has been fixed;
- a problem involving the parameter I for mail and suspicious files in the console scanner has been resolved;
- an event record is now added to the EventLog when a verdict indicating the incorrect threat-type designation is received from the cloud service.
Changes made to Dr.Web Security Space, Anti-virus for Windows setup:
- Arabic and Persian (Farsi) language support has been added;
- an issue that prevented the context menu from being displayed in the input fields has been corrected.
Changes made to Dr.Web Anti-virus for Windows servers setup:
- an issue causing the component to terminate abnormally when listening for a confirmation code when Dr.Web for Windows Servers was changed or deleted has been resolved.
Changes made to Dr.Web Tips for Dr.Web Security Space:
- tips in Arabic and Persian (Farsi) have been added.
Changes made to Dr.Web Anti-virus, Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite and Dr.Web AV-Desk:
- Arabic and Persian (Farsi) language support has been added;
- minor edits have been made in texts displayed in program interfaces, and some localizations have been improved.
Changes made to the Anti-exploit module for Dr.Web Anti-virus, Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite, Dr.Web AV-Desk and Dr.Web KATANA:
- an issue involving the GameGuard protection system, which was occasionally detecting false-positives in ArcheAge, has been eliminated.
Dr.Web AV-Desk Agent for Windows setup:
- Arabic and Persian (Farsi) language support has been added;
- messages that appeared during installation regarding free disk space are now displayed correctly;
- the license agreement has been updated;
- 360 Total Security can now be detected when anyone tries to install Dr.Web Agent on a station;
- the application has been made compatible with the Dr.Web 11.0 for IBM Lotus Domino and Dr.Web 11.0 for MS Exchange plugins;
- an issue involving SpIDer Guard being deleted when the agent was upgraded from version 6 to 11 has been resolved.
Changes made to Dr.Web Enterprise Agent for Windows setup:
- Arabic and Persian (Farsi) language support has been added;
- an issue involving SpIDer Guard being deleted while the agent was upgraded from version 6 to 11 has been eliminated;
- messages appearing during installation regarding free disk space now display correctly;
- Lumension Endpoint Security can now be detected when an attempt is made to install Dr.Web Agent on the station.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
