Dr.Web training course will help users shield themselves from encryption ransomware
May 4, 2017
According to Doctor Web's statistics, in over 90% of incidents, users are to blame for the encryption ransomware that gets launched on their computers. This means that almost all the incidents to date could have been prevented if the victims had been informed in time about the dangers of ransomware, knew how they are commonly distributed, observed the necessary precautions, and configured their system’s anti-virus protection properly.
Doctor Web has prepared the course DWCERT-070-6 "Protection from encryption ransomware for Windows PCs and file servers" for everyone who wants to prevent system infections and know more about the threat of Trojan.Encoder programs. We invite users to study the course materials and take the exam. In addition to the course materials, users need to study Doctor Web's policy regarding the free recovery of files that have been corrupted by encryption ransomware.
For each exam passed, Doctor Web awards 100 points and 10 Dr.Weblings, which as per usual can be used in monthly auctions or exchanged for gift certificates that can be used to purchase Dr.Web at a discount.
