Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Scanning Engine (11.1.8.201702170), the Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK (11.0.2.03300) component, and the Dr.Web SysInfo (11.1.5.201704040) module in a number of Dr.Web products. In addition, the product Dr.Web KATANA has had some of its components updated, specifically Dr.Web Anti-rootkit Base API (201704040), Dr.Web KATANA Control Service (11.1.6.02150), and Dr.Web Agent KATANA Agent (11.0.7.201702271). The update delivers new features and addresses identified issues.
Dr.Web Scanning Engine:
An issue that caused suspicious files to get into the quarantine even though the option 'Ignore' had been selected for them has been eliminated.
A log rotation issue has been resolved.
Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK:
Now compatible with new Intel CPUs.
Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API Base:
The certificate and trusted application database has been updated.
Dr.Web KATANA Control Service:
The Dr.Web ShellGuard anti-exploit module has been added to the module list.
Dr.Web KATANA Agent:
The description of disarmed objects in the quarantine has been reorganised, and irrelevant fields have been removed.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
