Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine updated

March 13, 2017

Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web has updated its Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine (7.00.28.02020) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 6-11, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite, Dr.Web Server Security Suite, Dr.Web Mail Security Suite, and Dr.Web Gateway Security Suite, as well as in the Internet service Dr.Web AV-Desk, Dr.Web CureIt! and Dr.Web CureNet!, and in the emergency system restore solution Dr.Web LiveDisk. The update resolves known software issues.

Specifically, it resolves engine issues that could arise while the engine was extracting data from files of the following formats: RTF, INNOSETUP, UPX, ODEX, NSIS, NET, NSPACK, PEPACK, LHA, MOLEBOX, ZIP and PNG.

The routines for processing HTML and JS files have been optimised.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
