Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web reports that its Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service has been deployed by CoreTech, a major distributor of software and IT services in Italy. Thanks to the new service, CoreTech resellers are now supplying their users with the Dr.Web Anti-virus service and taking advantage of all the benefits of the SaaS model.

Using software as a service is gaining popularity in Italy, and CoreTech is one of the companies actively putting this technology into practice. Now CoreTech’s numerous partners and, of course, their customers are able to appreciate the advantages of the SaaS model.

“An important factor for us are the protection capabilities for resellers that are inherent in Dr.Web AV-Desk; also important is the fact that users can suspend the service during periods of inactivity, thus, paying only for the protection they actually need”, said Massimo Nasini, Commercial Manager of CoreTech, when sharing his impressions.

“The service was deployed quickly, partly thanks to the fact that we didn’t have to install anything on the server side. Initial results show that the service is easy to install and it is not hard to work with”, noted Claudio Agnesani, CoreTech’s Sales and Technical Support Channel Manager.
