Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine updated

January 10, 2017

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated its Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine (7.00.27.12160) in the products Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus versions 6-11, in the software product groups Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite, Dr.Web Server Security Suite, Dr.Web Mail Security Suite, Dr.Web Gateway Security Suite, in the Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service, the Dr.Web CureIt! and Dr.Web CureNet! utilities, and also in Dr.Web LiveDisk—the system emergency repair software. The update delivers a fix for an identified problem.

Specifically, an engine issue resulting in excessive memory usage when MSU-files were being scanned has been eliminated.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
