Self-protection module in single-user Dr.Web products for Windows updated

April 16, 2010

Doctor Web updated the Dr.Web SelfPROtect module included in Dr.Web products from series 5 and 6 for protection of Windows workstations (32- and 64-bit).

Following modifications in the self-protection component of Dr.Web Enterprise Suite and Dr.Web AV-Desk the update was released for single-user products running under Windows. A recent security update from Microsoft aiming to resolve certain vulnerabilities resulted in compatibility issues between Windows and Dr.Web SelfPROtect. This update fixes the compatibility issue.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically by anti-viruses.
