Dr.Web SelfPROtect module updated

Doctor Web updated the self-protection component included in Dr.Web Enterprise Suite and its Internet-service Dr.Web AV-Desk. The update was released following errors in operation of the component that appeared after the security update for Windows had been released.

The issue related to resolving a Windows vulnerability affected users of Dr.Web Enterprise Suite and Dr.Web anti-virus service subscribers that use Windows 2000/2003/XP (32-bit versions). In particular the error rendered the updating service of the anti-virus non-operational.

The update will be automatically downloaded by the Dr.Web anti-virus service and by Dr.Web Enterprise Suite.
