Dr.Web for Lotus Domino updated

April 5, 2010

Doctor Web released its updated plugin Dr.Web for Lotus Domino 5.00.2 for Windows. The most important changes incorporated in the new version include support of both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows server operating systems ranging from Windows 2000 to 2008 R2 as well as 64-bit versions of IBM Lotus Domino servers. The product’s performance has been improved.

The updated Dr.Web for IBM Lotus Domino is compatible with other Dr.Web products of the 6.0 series. It can interact with Dr.Web Enterprise Suite 6.0 that currently is being prepared for a release. This feature will allow users to perform licensing tasks, send statistics and notifications and retrieve updates over the ES server.

The solution now features the event and audit log and provides a wider range of options for configuring actions performed by the anti-virus with detected malware.

Maintenance and configuration routines have been simplified to make it easier for users to work with the product. Now the solution supports export of black and white anti-spam lists and anti-virus exceptions lists. All settings of the Dr.Web Administrator Console database can now be saved and loaded from a file. Users can also take advantage of the easy-to-use and handy database template for store and process spam-messages.

The distribution of Dr.Web for Lotus Domino includes updated Dr.Web Virus-finding Engine 5.0.2, Dr.Web Scanning Engine 6.0 and Dr.Web updater 6.0.

In order to install the updated Dr.Web for Lotus Domino you need to remove the previous version of the plugin.

Detailed information regarding changes and features of the product can be found in its documentation.
