The Dr.Web SysInfo module was also updated in Dr.Web KATANA 1.0. The update resolves known software issues and has eliminated the below problems.

Scanning service:

  • A DFS (Distributed File System) access issue that arose if the option to scan shared folders was enabled for the SpIDer Guard file monitor.
  • Memory leaks occurring during curing.
  • A scanning issue involving folders whose names contain "~".
  • A defect that prevented shared folders containing a large number of files from being scanned.
  • A problem involving the /ARC key which defines the compression level for archives scanned by the console scanner.

Dr.Web Device Guard for Windows:

  • A problem that might cause a system crash (BSOD) under Windows 10.

Dr.Web File System Monitor 11.01.03.10070:

  • A problem that might cause a system crash (BSOD).

Scanner:

  • A defect that prevented disk boot sectors from being scanned during an initial scan.
  • A scanning issue involving folders whose names contain "~".
  • Defects involving scrollbars appearing in the scanner window and disappearing in the table of discovered threats if the window size was changed.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
