The control service integrates better with Windows Action Center (Windows Security Center), and an issue involving its abnormal termination after resuming from hibernation has been resolved.
Important agent notifications now include the following message: “Access to the protected object is blocked by Preventive Protection”. The company has also eliminated an issue involving a reboot prompt being displayed before the installation was complete or the list of components was changed.
An issue involving abnormal scanner termination on machines whose CPUs do not support SSE2 has been resolved. Also, the key /quit can now be used to close the scanner once the virus-check is complete. A defect involving redundant statistics being entered has been eliminated.
Also fixed was a scheduled updating issue that interfered with the creation of mirrors in folders with Cyrillic characters in their names.
The update also eliminates defects causing the abnormal termination of the Net filtering Service and preventing a block page from being displayed correctly if the corresponding URL was too long.
The message text in the firewall window showing information about the connections that were established pre-Dr.Web Firewall for Windows startup has been updated.
A compatibility issue between Dr.Web Shellguard and the Kyocera 8001i printer driver has been eliminated.
A Dr.Web AV-Desk Agent for Windows setup problem that prevented it from connecting to an AV-Desk server has been resolved.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
