Dr.Web Parental/Office Control databases have been optimised
August 24, 2016
Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the databases used by the Parental/Office Control and the SpIDer Gate HTTP monitor in the following products: Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web for Linux, Dr.Web for OS X, and Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite supporting centralised administration (part of Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite). The update improves product performance.
For optimisation purposes, the size of database entries has been reduced by half, allowing them to load more quickly. Consequently, the size of the distribution file has decreased.
The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
