Components in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.0 updated

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Upgrade Tool utility (11.0.0.04220) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.0, as well as Dr.Web Tips (11.0.1.05310) and Dr.Web Tips browser (11.0.1.05310) in Dr.Web Security Space 11.0. The update delivers new features and resolves known issues.

Dr.Web Tips now includes advice on how to protect a system from encryption ransomware. A Dr.Web Tips browser issue has been resolved—the browser no longer terminates abnormally when launched from a directory with a long Cyrillic name.

The Dr.Web Upgrade Tool has been updated to correct the message text that is displayed when a connection is lost while the anti-virus distribution is being downloaded.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
