New mass-mailing Trojan, installer of applications for OS X, and other virus events of June 2015

Doctor Web presents its June 2015 virus activity review. During this month, entries for new malware targeting Windows, OS X, and Android were added to Dr.Web virus databases.

At the beginning of the month, Doctor Web analysts detected a new Trojan designed to send out spam messages. Also in June, a new installer of unwanted applications was added to the list of malicious programs for OS X. Moreover, during the first summer month, cybercriminals intensified their attacks on various Internet resources, including the official website of the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM).
