Components updated in Dr.Web 11.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0, and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0

August 25, 2016

Doctor Web has updated SpIDer Agent for Windows (11.0.9.08230), Dr.Web Scanner SE (11.0.5.08230), and the Dr.Web Shellguard anti-exploit module (11.01.01.08220) in the products Dr.Web Security Space 11.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.0 for Windows Servers, and Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite supporting centralised administration (part of Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0), and in its Internet service Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0.

In the agent, a pop-up context menu has been added to the text fields.

An updating issue that sometimes prevented the scanner from being launched on machines running Windows XP SP2 has been resolved. Fixes have also been made so that local statistical information is displayed correctly when threats in archives are being neutralised (this concerns Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite and Dr.Web AV-Desk).

Anti-exploit module errors that could cause Internet Explorer, Skype for Business, and Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 to terminate abnormally have been corrected.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
