Doctor Web reports upon yet another deployment of Dr.Web AV-Desk by an ISP in Moscow region. Starting in November 2008 subscribers of NADEZHDA (translated into English as “Hope”) company get access to state-of-the-art anti-virus technologies from Doctor Web.

A steadily increasing number of subscribers in Moscow region shows that anti-virus protection is relevant for any user who enters a risk group as soon as he connects to the Internet. Frequent virus attacks and infections in a system cause data losses and other problems that can be solved by means of a subscription offered by many ISPs in Russia.

The NADEZHDA company conducted testing of Dr.Web AV-Desk in autumn 2008. Following the successful results the ISP introduced a new tariff that included the Dr.Web anti-virus service. “All these years we sought an adequate solution to the malware problem. No matter which anti-virus software was installed by our subscribers it always ended up with nothing. It wasn’t that the anti-viruses were bad. But no anti-virus vendor offered a solution like Dr.Web AV-Desk. that takes care of anti-virus security of our subscribers and runs virtually unnoticed”, the head of the NADEZHDA company Sergey Kirov said.

The ISP provides its customers with reliable anti-virus and anti-spam protection, free updates of the virus database and technical support from Doctor Web.
