Your Dr.Web serial number has been nicked? Restore it for free in a few clicks

July 30, 2013

Doctor Web announces a new service for users whose Dr.Web serial number has been blocked because of illegal use by a third party. With the automatic replacement service, you can restore a compromised license on your own in a few clicks completely for free.

The new feature is intended for customers who purchase boxed products and electronic licenses for Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus and Dr.Web Mobile Security and whose licenses have not yet expired. An exception to this is non-commercial licenses such as demo and OEM licenses which cannot be restored this way.

You can restore your serial number in the My Dr.Web area — the automatic replacement option is available in the Licenses/Blocked tab. A single serial number replacement is free. Please, note that you can't replace compromised licenses repeatedly. You can learn about serial number replacement terms on our website.

Please note that even a blocked license (provided, of course, it has been obtained legally) can be renewed or extended for one year at a 40% discount!
